SIDNEY WAGNER MCCLINTON

With nearly twenty years experience as a designer, stylist, shop owner, and buyer, SWD brings together Sidney’s multifaceted skillset as she shares with you her original artwork and handmade creations. Additionally, Sidney sells a thoughtfully curated collection of both new + vintage styling pieces for your home through SWD’s original PROP SHOP. In addition to selling a unique blend of items, Sidney also provides design inspiration and styling tips through her projects. 

Since 2006 Sidney has owned and operated her own design firm specializing in residential projects. Several of these projects have been featured in major print publications and digital design magazines such as Southern Living, HGTV Magazine, Charleston Magazine and Elle Decor.

During that time, Sidney also owned a carefully curated shop + design studio, Eclectic, located in Charleston, South Carolina where she featured reworked vintage finds, Southern textile designers, local artists, and artisans' work. Customers found inspiration from her showroom and her artful styling caught the eye of Traditional Home and Garden & Gun editors. 

Sidney’s editorial experience includes art directing, producing written content, and styling photo shoots for a number of interior publications. Additionally, she works with interior designers to style their clients’ homes for marketing + social media. 

Sidney has always been creative. In her spare time she enjoys painting, photography, making jewelry, designing textiles, and painting ceramics - some of these pieces can be purchased through SWD’S SHOP! Sidney currently lives in Beaufort, South Carolina with her husband Tim and studio mate/black Labrador, Charley.
