An original painting of a Sea Island coastal landscape, re-interpreted and inspired by one of my photographs. I enjoy taking photos during boat excursions, mini-trips and daily walks with Tim + Charley. I’m drawn to vibrant and powerful colors, so I like to take the colors that exist naturally in these environments and turn the volume up! As with color, I am equally drawn to shapes and patterns. Taking the modern cues present in these landscapes, I sharpen them into bold, graphic patterns for my paintings.
